Position overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense Intern to join our Accounts payable team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to work across both the accounts payable, managing employee travel and expense reporting, and assisting the vehicle account with material standard orders. The intern will gain hands-on experience with invoice processing, travel expense audits, and overall financial operations in a corporate setting.

Roles & responsibilities

  • Assist with completing reconciliation for all business entities under the Porsche Enterprise umbrella.
  • Assist with auditing employee expense reports via Concur.
  • Assist as back-up support as a Concur Administrator
  • Execute monthly exception reports.
  • Prepare quarterly service fee distribution.
  • Assist with processing vendor invoices and check distribution.
  • Process and prepare daily material standard orders(wholesale) titles for dealers.
  • Audit and approve accounts payable invoices.

Qualifications

Required qualifications include:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic knowledge required; advanced skills are a plus).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Previous internship or experience in accounts payable, travel & expense, or finance is a plus but not required.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced team environment.

Percentage of required travel:  None

Schedule/Shift: 8-5 pm

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.

The hourly range for this role is $18-$20.
