Senior Accountant/ Accounting Manager

New Gig Solutions is partnering with a leading firm to find a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager with a CPA designation. This role is 100% onsite and offers an exciting opportunity to lead financial operations, optimize closing processes, and mentor a growing accounting team. Must have experience with Individual and Corporate Tax Returns

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
Manage and streamline monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support critical business decisions.
Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
Assist in developing and monitoring budgets and forecasts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to the accounting staff.
Manage and oversee bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely data entry.
Prepare and file Corporate and Individual tax returns in compliance with tax laws.
Assist with bookkeeping and accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

CPA license is required .
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
5+ years of accounting or financial management experience.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in financial software and Excel.
Detail-oriented with a thorough understanding of GAAP.
Experience in tax preparation and bookkeeping.
