Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Planning and implementation of appropriate activities in terms of quality, interest, and needs.
• Plans and coordinates activities and events, discussion groups & clubs, cultural activities, special entertainment, off-campus trips, holiday parties, etc. for cottage and independent living residents
• Creation of the monthly activity calendar and newsletter for Cottage and Independent Living neighborhoods
• Inform residents and staff of changes to scheduled programming in a timely manner.
• Evaluate programming quality and participation on an ongoing basis.
• Communicate with residents and families regarding participation and satisfaction with activity programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience coordinating activities for seniors
• Valid Driver's license and a clear driving history.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check 
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with good time management skills.
• Pleasant and friendly demeanor with an outgoing personality.
• Available to work evenings and weekends as required for scheduled events.
