Aviation Services Powerhouse is looking to add to their family of professionals! This high-visibility, hands-on role will direct all facets of aircraft loading/unloading, ramp operations and warehouse sortation activities.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate cargo handling operations for speed, accuracy and efficiency.
Enforce safety and security regulations and policies including ID badges, TSA compliance, and proper use of equipment, materials and supplies.
Review volume forecast for appropriate staffing levels.
Guide supervisors to lead associates and foster a thriving work culture.
Liaise between front line supervisors and upper management to implement strategies and achieve goals.
Hire, train, mentor and develop employees.
Use technology wisely to improve processes.
Requirements:
Several years in a logistics/airfreight/warehousing environment.
Understanding of air cargo, ramp operations, e-commerce, fulfillment logistics.
Knowledge of sortation warehouse and ramp operations.
Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
Analytical, creative, resourceful and quick problem-solver.
Ability to work with colleagues and customers at all levels to improve and grow.
Available to work irregular schedules as needed.
