Position: Architects and Interior Designers

Job Overview

We are seeking talented Architects and Interior Designers with a strong foundation in architectural and interior design. The ideal candidates will focus on creating innovative, functional, and sustainable spaces for commercial plant projects and other large-scale developments. This role requires both creative design and technical expertise to develop aesthetically pleasing interiors while ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Candidates should be passionate about transforming spaces into environments that meet client needs while maintaining a commitment to sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural and Interior Design Development:

  • Design innovative architectural layouts and interior spaces that align with project requirements and client goals.
  • Create detailed floor plans, elevations, 3D models, and material selections to reflect the overall design vision.
  • Ensure designs meet industry standards for aesthetics, functionality, and regulatory compliance.

Space Planning & Layout:

  • Develop space planning strategies to optimize interior layouts, maximizing functionality and flow within commercial and industrial settings.
  • Focus on sustainable materials, energy efficiency, and environmental impact to enhance building performance.

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Work closely with engineering, construction, and other design teams to ensure seamless integration of architectural and interior designs.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and contractors throughout the design and construction phases to ensure project goals are met.

Project Management:

  • Lead interior and architectural design projects from concept through completion, ensuring that all aspects of design are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Prepare and present design proposals, incorporating client feedback and making necessary adjustments.
  • Supervise the implementation of designs and ensure quality control during construction.

Client Communication & Documentation:

  • Regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs, refine design ideas, and provide updates on project progress.
  • Prepare clear and comprehensive design documentation, including plans, specifications, and presentations for stakeholders and contractors.

Sustainability & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Incorporate sustainable design principles into all projects, aiming to reduce energy consumption and improve environmental impact.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, accessibility standards, and industry regulations.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Active Architectural License or relevant certification in the jurisdiction required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural and interior design, particularly in commercial or large-scale projects.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.
  • Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, and construction methods.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulatory standards, and sustainability practices (LEED, BREEAM, etc.).

Creative & Leadership Abilities:

  • Strong creative problem-solving and design skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Ability to lead design projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.

Certifications & Licenses:

  • Active Architectural License (required).
  • LEED or other sustainability certifications are a plus.
