Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista to join our team in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, ensuring each guest enjoys an exceptional experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Proficiency within latte art.

• Take orders accurately and provide recommendations on beverages, pastries, and menu items.

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty drinks following standardized recipes.

• Monitor guest satisfaction by ensuring beverages meet expectations and addressing concerns promptly.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including the counter, espresso machine, and seating area.

• Restock supplies such as coffee beans, syrups, cups, and lids as needed.

• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of all products.

• Process payments accurately using cash registers or point-of-sale systems.

• Assist in training new team members on beverage preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a café or coffee shop is preferred but not required.

• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent customer service skills, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all guests.

• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment is a plus.

• Ability to work well as part of a team while being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 25 lbs.

• Availability to work morning, afternoon, night, and weekend shifts as needed.

Job Types:

• Full-time, Part-time

Pay:  $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
