Key Responsibilities:

• Craft Beverages with Passion: Prepare high-quality coffee and tea beverages with a focus on artistry, consistency, and Hearth’s uncompromising standards.
• Deliver Unreasonable Hospitality: Welcome every guest as if they’re entering your home, ensuring their experience exceeds expectations and leaves them feeling like family.
• Collaborate Constantly: Work closely with team members to ensure seamless operations and foster a supportive environment.

Qualifications:

• Passion for coffee, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Previous experience as a barista or in customer service is a plus but not required—we’re happy to train the right person.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to Hearth’s values and vision.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and a variety of shifts.
• Have reliable transportation to/from work
• Have a CA Food Handler’s Certification or the willingness to attain one within 30 days of hire.
• Be able to do the following, with or without a reasonable accommodation:
• Move about the cafe area frequently during your shift
• Be able to taste coffee throughout your shift for quality control purposes
• Frequently move coffee/food/merch in bins weighing up to 40lbs
• Must be 18 or older and out of highschool

• Starting wage: $16.50/hour + tips (Tips are split evenly amongst the restaurant and coffee shop team. Expected hourly tip range is $5-10/hour).
