Job Description

Our Baristas are friendly and hospitable, ensuring that coffee drinks and food are prepared to our guests liking. Our baristas are always organized, calm, and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure our guests have the best experience at our Corner Cup Coffee Shop. If you have a passion for coffee and customer service, this may be just the job for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet all customers with a friendly smile; provide friendly, efficient and personal service to each customer.
  • Take food and drink orders; understand the food and beverage menu in order to provide the best possible description and execution of menu items to your guests.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the coffee preparation process, including specialty drinks.
  • Accurately and efficiently enter order into POS system.
  • Receive and prepare orders sent through from the POS system.
  • Clear and reset counters and tables at conclusion of each guest.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
  • Provide guests with the finest quality of service at all times in a warm and enthusiastic manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of food service regulations.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communications skills required.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to utilize quick thinking and apply quick resolution to guest issues in accordance to the brand standards.
  • Excellent conflict-resolution skills.
  • Able to work in fast paced environment.
  • Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.
