Barista Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced barista who can brew a great cup of joe and help us provide exceptional customer experiences to our guests.

A type of employee that we have in mind is committed to the job and shows initiative in enhancing the reputation of our coffee shop. This person should be an excellent salesman and a great team player with a knack for problem-solving and attention to detail.

A qualified candidate must be skilled in using various coffee preparation techniques and coffee brewing and grinding equipment, but must also be able to cater to our guests' needs, upsell when appropriate, and build long-lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities of a Barista:

• Prepare and serve high- quality coffee, espresso, and other beverages according to the

recipes and standards.

• Operate coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders, while ensuring

consistent drink preparation.

• Engage with Guests in a professional and friendly manner with one guest at time, taking

orders, answering questions, and providing recommendations.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, including cleaning and sanitizing

equipment.

Barista Job Requirements:

• Solves and responds to Guest needs.

• Follows Sircorp operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling

and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all Team Members during each

Unit 2, 100 City Centre Drive, Mississauga, ON L5B 2C9, Canadashift.

• Follows all cash management and cash register policies and ensures proper cash

management practices are followed by shift team.

• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

• Using operational tools to achieve operational excellence during the shift.

• Ability to operate with flexibility on nights and weekends.
