Job Title: Bookkeeper Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper with a background in commerce/ finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure the smooth financial operations of the business. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports Process payroll and ensure accurate tax calculations Assist with budgeting and financial planning Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies Manage invoices, receipts, and expense tracking Prepare and submit tax filings as required Requirements: Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Excellent communication skills A degree or diploma in Commerce, Finance, or a related field is preferred
