Job Description

Join Our Team as a Bookkeeper/Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare financial statements to provide insights into the company's financial health.
  • Manage payroll functions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and accurate employee compensation.
  • Track and categorize income and expenses for various projects, providing detailed reporting to management.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities and monitor financial progress against targets.
  • Prepare and file taxes, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that guide decision-making.
  • Support the management of financial audits and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in the real estate sector.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
