Position: Bookkeeper
Salary: $40,000 to $50,000 per year (based on experience)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. You will work with both QuickBooks Online and Desktop to manage key financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers, and receipts. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for numbers and a strong understanding of accounting procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Accurately prepare, maintain, and organize accounting documents and records
- Process bank deposits, general ledger entries, and financial statements
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- Enter key financial data into a database daily
- Assist team members with accounting-related inquiries and tasks
- Research, resolve, and track accounting discrepancies and issues
- Generate reports and summaries for management on financial activity
- Ensure all tasks comply with established standards, procedures, and regulations
- Continuously update knowledge of accounting best practices
Experience and Skills:
- Previous accounting experience, ideally in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
- Proficient in MS Office, databases, and QuickBooks Online
- Hands-on experience with financial reports and spreadsheets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Data entry and word processing proficiency
- High school diploma required; an associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus
