Brand Manager (Remote)

Department: Business Management
Reports To: Director of Business Management
FLSA Status: Exempt
Compensation: The pay range for this role is based on industry data and will be determined by experience, skills, and qualifications.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and strategic Brand Manager to oversee the management of margin and inventory for key product categories, including Barco, Jabra, Inogeni, and Vivitek. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in optimizing stock management, improving gross margins, and developing strategies to drive business growth. You'll also work closely with leadership to enhance vendor negotiations, reporting, and performance metrics.

What You'll Do

Manage and optimize inventory, pricing, and margins for assigned brands.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of brand strategies.
Serve as a key consultant on brand-related topics, providing insights and recommendations.
Evaluate and refine business processes to improve overall performance.
Strengthen vendor relationships by negotiating better terms, rebates, and marketing contributions.
Develop both short- and long-term business plans in alignment with company objectives.
Partner with procurement teams to manage inventory and sales performance.
Work closely with marketing teams to ensure strong brand presence and promotional strategies.
Support product launches and vendor business planning initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Telecommunications, Media, or a related field.
10+ years of sales and marketing management experience in the AV industry.
CTS Certification is a plus.
Proven ability to drive sales growth and profitability.
Strong vendor relationship management skills.

Strong business acumen and negotiation expertise.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Clear and effective communication (verbal and written).
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
Experience with sales techniques such as Track Selling.

Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving.

What You Can Expect

Work Environment & Travel:

This is a remote role with some travel required (10% travel).
Occasional exposure to warehouse environments may require the use of personal protective equipment.
Some weekend work or extended hours may be necessary.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Occasional lifting of products up to 50 lbs.
Some travel may involve varying noise levels and temperature conditions.
