HOW A BUSINESS CONTINUITY ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
  • Performs risk assessments and business impact analysis
  • Identifies potential problem areas and single points of failure that may result in interruptions to critical business operations
  • Develops safeguards against identified interruptions and implements disaster recovery procedures in the event of a business interruption
  • Performs continuous risk assessments and business impact analysis based on environment changes year over year
  • Collaborates with business units to enhance contingency plans, mitigating the effect of a technology system or application failure or other problem
  • Responsible for insuring that business and regulatory requirements are adhered to and that implemented recovery procedures and contracts are cost justifiable
  • Provides documentation and training on contingency planning concepts and procedures

WHAT YOU"LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience
  • 2 or more years of disaster recovery, contingency planning, or related experience
  • Demonstrated experience using MS Office 365 Suite, TEAMS, or Planning Tools (LDRPS or similar)
  • Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) or greater cert is required
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliverables
  • An ability to obtain and maintain a public trust

The likely salary range for this position is $61,844 - $83,672. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
