Job Summary: The CAD Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, plans, and models to support the sales, design and engineering teams. This role requires proficiency in CAD software, an eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 2D drawings and occasional 3D models based on initial sketches, specifications, and project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure designs meet project objectives and standards.
• Modify and update existing designs to reflect changes or improvements.
• Conduct quality checks on drawings and models for accuracy and completeness.
• Organize and maintain a library of CAD files and project documentation.
• Assist in the development of technical documentation and user guides.
• Support the team with design problem-solving and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or certification in CAD drafting, engineering, architecture, or a related field preferred, but not required with experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, DraftSight, SolidWorks, or similar programs. Willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modeling techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Background in manufacturing or construction.
