Remote, Part-Time; Apr 1 - Apr 10, 2025

Full-Time, On-Site; Apr 11 - May 8 ,2025

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Cashless PA supports the Cashless Coordinator in all aspects of festival cashless payment operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Pre-Festival:

• Assist in maintaining the Cashless production schedule as needed.
• Develop and update Google Docs/Spreadsheets related to Cashless operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate the installation of network devices, signage, and other required items.
• Support the programming of POS systems and train Merchandising, Food & Beverage, and Cash Exchange booth managers and sales staff.
• Assist with coordinating the distribution and collection of POS devices for Food & Beverage Vendors.
• Support Cashless staff and vendor orientation.

Festival:

• Assist the Cashless Coordinator in completing daily sales summary reports for all Food & Beverage Vendors to support weekly settlements.
• Support weekly settlement procedures.
• Assist in deploying and managing Zone Managers & Monitors for troubleshooting and operational support.

Post-Festival:

• Assist with breaking down and packing POS devices for storage or return.
• Support the Merchandising Admin with final sales and inventory summary reports for all merchandise items.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Using the Absentee Request Form, it is the responsibility of each employee and their supervisor to accurately report their absenteeism to the Festival Finance Office.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues.
• Give any document, computer program, design, or other intellectual property created for the Jazz Festival (and, therefore, belonging to the Jazz Festival) to the Festival through your
• supervisor or department head at the end of each production year, or upon request.
• Attend and complete any required training.
• Complete all required Feedback Forms and Final Reports.
• Must attend and complete any required training.
• Perform all other work-related duties, as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Google Docs. Knowledge of MS Access is a plus.
• Basic understanding of financial accounting, including percentages, debits, and credits.
• Strong organizational and task management skills with the ability to follow directions.
• Production experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Ability to move quickly across festival grounds and perform possible heavy lifting.
