Now Hiring! Class A/B Commercial Dump Truck Driver
Salary: $27 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site

Job Summary:
R. L. Cole Enterprise is seeking a dedicated Class A/B Commercial Dump Truck Driver to transport various materials to construction sites. The Class A/B Commercial Dump Truck Driver role, involves using truck controls to load materials, supervising loading procedures, adhering to schedules for material transport, and ensuring the truck is mechanically sound through pre and post-trip inspections. Safety is paramount, and compliance with company safety rules and Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) regulations is essential.

What You’ll Do:

  • Transport crushed rock, sand, gravel, salt, concrete debris, etc., to and from designated locations.
  • Verify and ensure materials comply with weight restrictions.
  • Safely load materials onto the dump truck, ensuring even distribution.
  • Perform routine greasing of the dump truck as required (every 3-4 weeks).
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including fluids, lights, and tires.
  • Immediately report accidents, injuries, or mechanical issues to management or appropriate authorities.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain the dump truck to ensure safe operation.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs and records.
  • Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and protocols.

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Class A/B Commercial Driver’s License.
  • Good driving record with comprehensive knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
  • Proven experience operating a standard dump truck.
  • Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations.
