CRF – Celebrating 45 Years of Excellence in Behavioral Health Services in San Diego County!

Hours : 40 hours per week; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Tuesday, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm

Pay Rate : $28.00 to $30.00 per hour

Education : Bachelor's degree in a mental health-related field, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required

As a Counselor - Mobile Assessment, you will:

• Provide orientations for new WTW (Welfare-to-Work) participants, train Case Managers, conduct screenings and provide referrals for social service needs.
• May work off-site at a Welfare-to-Work office.
• Work closely with collaborative partners and other providers in the region to facilitate access to program service and other social services needed for WTW clients.
• Assist clients in developing service plan goals and prioritizing needs and steps to reach established goals.
• Participate in weekly Care Coordination meetings.

Additional Qualifications and Skills

• Bilingual required in one of the following languages - Spanish, Arabic, or Farsi
• Minimum of 2 years of experience assisting hard-to-place populations, including severe mental illness, severe emotional disorder and WTW clients
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
• This program is housed in a two-story building that does have an elevator. However, ability to navigate stairs may be required.
• A valid California driver’s license in good standing, personal vehicle, proof of insurance and eligibility to be an approved CRF driver is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position
• Ability to pass criminal/background clearance
