Customer Solutions Director - CSS

Location: Bellevue, WA, on-site


This role will join a dynamic team within Ericsson’s Customer Unit T- Mobile, focused on driving sales and business development for BOS and MS domains within Cloud Software & Services. This role will be in Bellevue, WA and will coordinate with those mostly in Market Area North America.


The immediate team will have 9 team members, but many more customer contacts and internal matrixed team members. This role is collaborative and innovative, fostering a culture of trust and continuous learning.

The goal of this hire is to strengthen Ericsson's position as a preferred partner in BOS and MS domains by enhancing sales and business development efforts.


Impact in 3 Months:
Establish relationships with key customer decision-makers, internal colleagues, and begin influencing sales strategy.


Impact in 6 Months:
Drive new funnel opportunities, craft competitive offers, and progress strategic deals toward closure.


What you will do

  • Engage in pre-sales activities, ensuring Ericsson's solutions provide added value.
  • Lead solution domain engagements and manage existing solutions to ensure successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with account managers to drive long-term business.
  • Drive the technical sales process and design comprehensive solutions.
  • Build relationships with account management teams and stakeholders.
  • Position new offerings based on Core Network solutions.


What you will have

  • 10+ years of relevant ICT experience.
  • Expertise in Digital Services, Core Networks, and Communications Services.
  • Strong understanding of CSPs’ Core & Cloud environments.
  • Ability to lead with a consultative sales approach.
  • Familiarity with orchestration and RAN concepts preferred.
  • Prior experience with large Customer Units.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

  • SALARY: $178,000.00 to $240,000.00

STV: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

SIP: Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson’s Sales Incentive Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.


Your Health

Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of 3 medical plan options, 2 of which are PPO plans requiring employee contributions to the cost of premiums, and a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with no premiums for employees and dependents. In addition, Ericsson offers free dental coverage, employee paid vision coverage, and other company paid physical wellness programs.


Your Financial Security

We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson’s 401(k) plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and up to a 4% company match, leading to a maximum company contribution of 7% annually. Employees will also receive company paid basic life and accidental death and dismemberment coverage and paid company short-term and long-term disability benefits. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson’s Stock Purchase Plan.


Your Time

Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided up to 40 days of paid time off per year, including 15 days of accrued annual vacation, 3 personal days, 11 paid holidays, 10 sick days, and 1 volunteer day. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Those with additional vacation time at the end of the year may sell one week of vacation, equal to a week of pay. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of maternity/medical leave, 6 weeks of paternity or adoption leave at 100% of pay, and medical leave at 100% or 66 2/3% of pay, based on length of service.
