Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Engineer to join our dynamic team and help enhance our cybersecurity and IT infrastructure. In this role, you will play a key part in protecting and strengthening our network security, responding to security incidents, and developing technical solutions to safeguard against vulnerabilities. You'll work closely with various teams to ensure secure practices are followed and continuously look for ways to improve our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to and resolve security incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage and mitigate security risks.
Advocate for secure practices and work on automating security improvements.
Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
Write and review code to support security efforts.
Develop solutions to address and resolve security vulnerabilities.
Manage and enhance networking and network security measures.
Conduct security assessments to identify areas of improvement.
Implement and manage intrusion detection and prevention systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve network and security-related issues.
Participate in regular penetration testing and vulnerability checks.
Actively identify and address potential security risks and weaknesses.
Support the protection of database platforms and endpoint security.
Stay up to date with cybersecurity trends, concepts, and best practices.
Participate in the change management process to ensure security protocols are upheld.
Collaborate on problem-solving and project management to achieve security goals.
Report any potential issues or concerns with software and systems.
Requirements:

A DOD Clearance is required or the ability to apply for and obtain certification within six months.
