Responsibilities:
  • Independently maintain a strong understanding of regulations and guidance as they pertain to data centric deliverables; mentors others and advises on MMS on industry trends and technologies
  • Lead the design and development of advanced Power BI reports and dashboards 
  • Strong understanding of new methods, tools, and solutions to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders and teams
  • Develop and deliver training for internal and external stakeholders regarding Data Science processes and deliverables
  • Ability to develop Power BI solutions that pull data from multiple data sources (internal and external) 
  • Provide guidance on data modeling and DAX calculations 
  • Work with customers to demonstrate capabilities and gather requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements 
  • Ensure data security and compliance 
  • Troubleshoot and optimize Power BI reports 
  • Prepare, correct, modify, and analyze data sets using complex analytic techniques
  • Strong experience mentoring others, both technical and non-technical, toward a better understanding of data science methodologies and results
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices 
Requirements:
  • College graduate in Data Science or similar discipline, or related experience, Masters or PhD preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Data Science or similar field required.
  • Extensive experience in developing and optimizing complex Power BI solutions, ensuring high performance and scalability
  • Ability to implement drill-down functionalities and cross-page slicers for comprehensive data exploration across multiple dashboard layers
  • Proficient in connecting and extracting data from various data sources, ensuring seamless data flow into Power BI
  • Advanced expertise in data modeling, including creating semantic models, managing relationships, and structuring facts and dimensions.
  • Ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights through effective dashboard design and intuitive data visualization
  • Proficient in DAX for creating measures and calculated columns, enabling dynamic and insightful data analysis
  • Preferred experience with leading or coordinating development of a data analytics platform or application
  • Strong SQL skills for complex data querying, manipulation, and optimization. 
  • Skilled in designing dynamic and interactive visualizations, incorporating drilldowns, cross-page slicers, and custom visual interactions
  • Ability to anticipate and effectively resolve potential problems with client demands
  • Demonstrates managerial skills and experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications    
  • Hands-on experience with clinical trial and pharmaceutical development preferred
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work with others to clearly understand needs and solve problems
