Title: Databricks Admin

Location: Stamford, CT (Open to remote to EST Time Zone)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Admin with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Databricks Workspace Admin, Databricks Unity Catalog, Python, Databricks SQL, Databricks Workflows, and PySpark. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data solutions using Databricks Workspace Admin, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Oversee the management and organization of data assets using Databricks Unity Catalog to ensure data governance and security.
Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Databricks Workflows to support various data processing needs.
Utilize Python and PySpark to write efficient and maintainable code for data transformation and analysis.
Create and optimize SQL queries in Databricks SQL to extract and manipulate data for reporting and analytics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions that meet business needs.
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices for data validation and error handling.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Databricks-related tasks and projects.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in Databricks and related technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high coding standards.
Document technical designs, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Contribute to the overall data strategy and architecture to support the company's goals and objectives.
