Job Description

Johnstone Supply is looking for an individual who is passionate about driving and delivering excellent customer service. As a a parts driver and warehouse member you play a crucial role in ensuring customers receive their orders promptly and accurately.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure deliveries are made promptly while adhering to traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, others, and the materials being delivered 
• Load and unload  goods  onto the delivery vehicle ensuring they are properly secured to prevent damage during transit
• Receive products into the computer system and put them away promptly
• Inspect products for damages, and shortages and complete the appropriate documentation
• Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency
• Follow company policies/procedures regarding deliveries, safety and any other relevant guidelines
• Communicate with the team any updates and or issues that may arise
• Ability to handle the physical stamina necessary to perform the duties of this role including lifting and carrying heavy items and spending long hours driving

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Prior experience operating a 26' box truck with a lift gate
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred
• DOT required
• Must be able to bend, stand reach, pull, lift, and carry items up to 75 pounds in the warehouse
• Clean driving record with a valid driver's license
• Hazmat endorsement preferred
