The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for an Engineering Technician (GS-0802-09) to work at Offutt AFB, Nebraska.
The position performs nonprofessional technical work in functions such as research, development, design, evaluation, construction, inspection, production, application, standardization, test, or operation of engineering facilities, structures, systems, processes, equipment, devices or materials.
Looking for a candidate with GEOBase, Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) skills.
- Salary $60,541 - $78,703
- Travel not authorized
- Recruitment incentive up to 25% to eligible candidates

Requirements For This Position - U.S. Citizenship required.
- 1-2 years’ experience requested.
- The employee must obtain and maintain then appropriate security clearance.
- The employee must be willing and able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.
- This position requires the employee to drive a motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid driver's license is required for the position.

Practical knowledge of civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering concepts and principles.
Knowledge of security concepts, principles, practices, and standards relating to the protection of resources.
Knowledge of the operation of and required standards for physical protective equipment and systems.
Knowledge of engineering and architectural plans and specification sufficient to read and interpret construction requirements.
Ability to apply mathematical formulas to compute construction costs, negotiate changes to contracts, and use computer based programs to record and maintain information involving these activities.
