Entry Level Benefits Clerk - $15.00 per hour! Creative Solutions in Healthcare is looking for an entry level Benefits Clerk to join our team! Experience working in a long-term care environment, and benefits is desired but not required. Must be well versed in both Microsoft Word and Excel!

JOB DESCRIPTION

Ability to organize, prioritize, and work within deadlines.
Ability to comply with the Company's and departmental safety policies and procedures.
Ability to comply with the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
Willing to learn and apply new technology.
Maintain employee files in accordance with Federal Labor regulations, Department of Health Services, & Facility policy.
Review claims applications, process claims in coordination with insurance carriers, follow up on insurance invoices, coordinate COBRA for eligible employees.
Perform a variety of responsible office support work such as composing confidential correspondence and resolutions; preparation of spreadsheets and data entry.
Maintaining accurate records and files.
Working knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting employee benefits.
Experience using HRIS database.
Skill in both verbal and written communication.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees while inspiring respect, credibility, and integrity.
Problem analysis and resolution skills.
Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
