The Oswego County Public Health Department has upcoming openings for Environmental Health Aides to perform a variety of para-professional tasks associated with the collection of samples, materials, and data related to the field of public and environmental health. These are temporary, full-time positions, expected to work from approximately late-May through the late-August, with the option to continue employment through October. End dates are flexible to accommodate college schedules.
Qualifications: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma; OR One (1) year of experience assisting in data or specimen collection, for assisting with environmental programs. SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Possession of a current, valid, New York State driver's license at time of appointment. Maintenance of license required throughout the course of employment.
Pay Rate: $18.20 per hour.
