Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Event Assistant. The Event Assistant will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional experiences for attendees. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong multitasking skills, creativity, and a passion for events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics such as venue bookings, vendor management, and equipment setup.
  • Help create and maintain event schedules, timelines, and budgets.
  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Support on-site event setup, including decorations, signage, and seating arrangements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for attendees during events, addressing inquiries or resolving issues promptly.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and compile reports to assess the event's success.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as preparing event materials, processing invoices, and maintaining databases.
  • Stay informed about event trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent, etc.) is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
