Event Marketing Manager

Location: Preferably onsite in the Bay Area (4 days a week), with flexibility
Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year (based on experience)

Are you a passionate and strategic event marketer looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact? We're seeking an Event Marketing Manager to drive high-impact event programs that enhance brand awareness, generate high-quality leads, and foster relationships with key industry audiences.

What You'll Do

Develop and implement a comprehensive event marketing strategy that aligns with overall marketing and business goals.
Plan and execute memorable in-person and virtual events, including company-hosted (1st party) and industry-sponsored (3rd party) events.
Manage all aspects of event participation, including booth design, speaking engagements, networking events, and sponsorships.
Oversee event logistics, including budgeting, vendor coordination, and on-site execution to ensure flawless event experiences.
Create lead capture strategies, track post-event engagement, and collaborate with the sales team to convert leads into customers.
Measure event success using key performance metrics, analyze ROI, and refine strategies for future events.
Partner closely with sales and product teams to ensure a seamless event execution and alignment with business objectives.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging event opportunities to keep a competitive edge.

Who You Are

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in event marketing, with a track record of executing successful event programs.
Deep understanding of the event lifecycle—from planning and execution to measurement and optimization.
Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Experience managing event budgets, logistics, and vendor relationships.
Creativity and passion for developing engaging experiences that captivate attendees.

Bonus points for:

Familiarity with generative AI tools for marketing efficiency and innovation.
Ability to adapt and wear multiple hats in a dynamic startup environment.
