Driving Educational Access and Philanthropic Leadership
Commitment: Volunteer (5–10 hours per quarter)
The Educational Equality Institute (TEEI) is seeking visionary leaders, corporate executives, and philanthropists to join its Board of Directors . As an Executive Board Member , you will play an integral role in shaping the strategic growth of TEEI and expanding its mission to provide education, mentorship, and career development opportunities for displaced individuals, refugees, and underserved communities, with a focus on women and girls .
Board Members serve as key advisors and ambassadors , ensuring that TEEI remains financially sustainable and mission-driven. This role is designed for leaders who have deep networks in philanthropy, corporate social responsibility (CSR), or donor relations and can help secure funding through high-level partnerships and corporate sponsorships .

As an Executive Board Member , you will provide governance, fundraising guidance, and strategic direction to expand TEEI’s reach and sustainability. Your experience in nonprofit leadership, corporate partnerships, or philanthropy will be essential in securing the financial resources needed to grow the organization.
Attend quarterly board meetings (virtual or in-person) and actively participate in committee work.
Provide mentorship and strategic counsel to the executive leadership team.
TEEI seeks highly accomplished executives, philanthropists, and corporate leaders with experience in nonprofit governance, CSR, donor relations, or high-impact philanthropy .
✔ A passion for education, workforce development, and social impact .
✔ Proven experience in fundraising, corporate sponsorships, or major donor engagement .
✔ A strong network of corporate leaders, philanthropists, or high-net-worth donors .
✔ A background in finance, law, technology, AI, education, or nonprofit leadership (preferred but not required).
✔ Previous experience serving on a nonprofit board (preferred but not required).
✔ The ability to dedicate 5–10 hours per quarter to board meetings, committee work, and donor engagement.
Each board member is expected to contribute or raise between $50,000 and $100,000 annually through personal giving, corporate sponsorships, or donor outreach.
