CW Resources is excited to announce an expansion on the Fort Drum Base!  We are scheduled to start orientation for this position on 8/25/2025. Shifts : Part- Time, 3 shifts available, Facility is open 7 days per week.   We invite applicants eligible for the AbilityOne Program to Apply. CW Resources is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Mess Attendants . No previous food service experience is needed—we’ll provide all the training you need to succeed! Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware using commercial dishwashing equipment and manual cleaning methods as needed. Operate commercial dishwashing machines to clean plates, trays, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools; manually scrub pots, pans, and other heavily soiled items as needed. Sort and organize dirty dishes from multiple service areas, pre-rinsing and loading them into the machine in accordance with health and safety procedures. Sanitize and properly store all clean items in designated locations to ensure readiness for future meal service. Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing and food prep areas by sweeping, mopping, removing food debris, and wiping down sinks, walls, and surfaces after each shift. Collect and dispose of trash, food waste, and recyclables from kitchen, dining, and dishwashing areas; replace liners and follow proper waste disposal protocols. Clean and reset dining and serving areas between meal periods—wipe down tables, refill condiments, restock napkins, and ensure floor areas are safe and tidy. Assist with food service support tasks, such as restocking utensils, serving trays, and kitchen supplies, setting up the tray line, when needed. Follow guidance from the supervisor to ensure all kitchen and dining areas meet health, sanitation, and safety standards. Use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, aprons, and non-slip shoes during all cleaning and dishwashing tasks. Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth coordination during peak meal periods and special service times.   What We’re Looking For:  Willingness to learn new skills. Regular use of cleaning chemicals; proper PPE such as gloves and aprons must be worn. Good vision, hearing, and hand coordination are needed for safe and efficient work.
