Job Description

United Systems and Software is seeking to hire an Angular 8+ web developer to assist in modernizing legacy applications. Individual will adhere to strict coding standards and will regularly meet with project manager for code reviews. Position may either be remote, or onsite in Lake Mary, FL.

 
Optional Portfolio:

A portfolio of you work would be a bonus. If one provided, you will be required to explain your code and speak to the design and implementation decisions made.

 

  Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience as an Angular developer
• Understanding of Web Services and JSON
• Experience with Client and interceptors
• Experience with RxJS library
• Working knowledge of fundamental Angular concepts: Routes, Services, Modules, Interfaces, Classes, etc
• Experience with Typescript 3.5+
• Understanding of OOP concepts and implementation
• Working knowledge of classes, interfaces, inheritance, and different OOP implementations
• Experience with Angular Material components 8+
• Experience with Node.js and NPM
• Experience with GiT
• Education: Bachelor of science in computer science (or similar focus) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of software engineering principles
• Knowledge of programming languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, SCSS, CSS. (Java, C#, and PHP is a plus)
• Knowledge of platforms and frameworks: Angular, AngularJS, Angular Material, NodeJS
• Ability to read and understand API documentation
• Ability to follow standards and code guidelines

  Preferred Qualities and Experience:

• Ability to write technical documents
• MS Visual Studio Code IDE
• Knowledge of AngularJS would be a bonus but not required

  Key Responsibilities:

• Must comply with USSI’s concepts, practices, and procedures as described in the USSI Team Member Manual
• Report directly to the Research and Development Director
