Full-Time Nanny for Infant in Manhattan – $62,400 Annually

Seeking a full-time nanny for a warm and loving family with a 5 month old baby in Manhattan's Upper West Side. The family values a calm, nurturing, and engaging nanny to help foster their child's development and ensure their well-being. Ideal candidate has prior experience working with infants.

Schedule and Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $30/hour ($62,400 annually).
• Start Date: February 1, 2024, or sooner.
• Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (40 hours per week guaranteed). Flexibility is appreciated.

• Benefits:2 weeks paid vacation. 2 sick days. 2 personal days. All bank holidays off. Paid Jewish holidays (Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur).

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and loving care to a 5-month-old baby.
• Support the baby’s developmental milestones with activities such as tummy time, movement, and age-appropriate play.
• Organize and maintain the baby’s belongings, including light laundry and tidying the play area.
• Incorporate classical music into daily routines.
• Schedule and attend playdates and local baby classes (e.g., dance, movement, tummy time).
• Take the baby for daily walks in nearby parks (Riverside or Central Park).

• Prepare bottles, transition from breastfeeding to formula feeding as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience caring for infants, with strong references.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• Calm and nurturing demeanor, with a gentle and patient approach.
• Energetic and physically active to engage with the baby and assist with developmental activities.
• Comfortable working in a kosher household (guidelines will be provided).
• Organized and proactive in planning activities and keeping the baby’s environment tidy.

• Provide 3-5 professional references.
