Job Description

Description of the role: Newton Ford South is seeking a General Sales Manager to lead our sales team in providing exceptional customer experiences and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strong leader with proven experience in automotive sales. Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Monitor key performance indicators and adjust strategies as needed
  • Train and develop sales consultants
  • Manage inventory, pricing, and promotions
  • Collaborate with finance and service departments
  • Handle escalated customer concerns
  • Maintain compliance with dealership policies and regulations
  • Stay updated on market trends and industry best practices
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in automotive sales leadership
  • Strong track record of achieving sales goals
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of automotive sales processes and CRM software
  • Strong negotiation and customer service skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field (preferred)
