Sumter Consulting is a boutique consulting firm specializing in executive search recruiting, staffing assistance, and general consulting. We are based in Alpharetta, GA, but our team works remotely and is dispersed throughout the Southeast. Our clients are local governments that value long-term relationships with vendors who deliver results.

We have experienced remarkable growth in a short period of time. We seek to expand our team by hiring a skilled individual to develop sales-related marketing materials, detailed proposal responses, and recruitment materials for our executive search clients.  

We seek a creative professional with an eye for quality and the ability to create beautiful marketing and informational content for our use in marketing our services and for our clients. Our executive search clients use our services to create effective recruitment brochures and advertisements to attract the best fits for their top-level vacancies.

Graphic Designer   Job Responsibilities and Skills:

· Plans and illustrates concepts by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetics

· Coordinates with internal teams in the design concept phase through project completion.

· Obtain approval of concepts by preparing rough layouts for review.

· Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.

· Coordinates with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc., to complete projects.

· Create visually appealing designs for various marketing materials, including print advertisements, tradeshow materials, digital graphics, and social media content

· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute creative concepts that align with brand guidelines

· Use photo manipulation and video editing software to enhance and retouch images and videos

· Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design

· Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, or similar software programs

· Strong understanding of layout design principles and typography

· Familiarity with content management systems for website design and maintenance  

· Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Fun person with a positive attitude

Our corporate office is in Alpharetta, GA; however, our team is dispersed throughout the Southeast. We can provide office space in Alpharetta, or this role can operate as a remote or hybrid position. We envision this role growing with our company to take on more responsibilities over time.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree is   not   required

1 plus years of experience in graphic design

$25 per hour starting rate

Part-time and Full-time - Paid time off

Flexibility to work from home, our corporate office, or a hybrid setup. Will provide necessary equipment, software, and technology required for the role.
