Head Football Coach, 25-26 Season

Catholic Central High School is faith-based, College Preperatory high school committed to academic excellence, faith formation, and character development. We have 116 students and 31 professional staff. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Football Coachto lead our program and inspire student-athletes to excel on and off the field.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction for the football program, ensuring alignment with the school’s mission and values.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of the football program, including training, conditioning, and game strategies.
  • Develop and implement a competitive and disciplined football program that emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and academic achievement.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop assistant coaches to support the program's success.
  • Monitor student-athletes’ academic progress, ensuring eligibility requirements are met.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and respect within the team.
  • Engage with parents, the school community, and alumni to build support for the program.
  • Oversee equipment management, budget planning, and facility use.
  • Ensure compliance with school, league, and state athletic association policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, sports management, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level (head coaching experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of football fundamentals, strategy, and player development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s Catholic mission and values.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
