Your Role: Human Resources Assistant
As a Human Resources Assistant, you’ll play a key role in building and supporting our amazing team. You’ll help recruit, onboard, and develop top talent while contributing to the overall success of our restaurant. This is an entry-level position with plenty of opportunities to grow your career.
What You’ll Do:
1. Talent Acquisition
- Post job openings and build talent pools through networking and career fairs.
- Process applications, conduct interviews, and assist in hiring decisions.
- Create recruiting materials that highlight our amazing workplace culture.
2. Team Member Support
- Be the go-to person for team member requests, from uniforms to payroll.
- Help manage health insurance inquiries, direct deposit setups, and more.
3. Boost Morale & Retention
- Assess team morale through regular check-ins and observation.
- Help plan fun team-building events and gather feedback to make Chick-fil-A an even better place to work.
4. Growth & Development
- Work with leadership to identify and support team members ready for promotions.
- Assist in developing tools and processes to help everyone on the team succeed.
5. Operational Support
- Assist with payroll processing, reporting workers' compensation claims, and maintaining personnel files.
- Support Front of House operations as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and excitement to learn
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- An associate’s degree (or working toward one) in HR, business, or a related field is a plus
- A passion for people and teamwork
- Business-minded with a focus on building strong, effective teams
Compensation:
- Competitive pay based on experience (starting at $19.00 per hour)
- Full-time hours
