3. Security Analyst - Vulnerability Management

Experience: 8-10+ years

Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA (Hybrid)

Client: IEHP

Position Overview:

IEHP is looking for an Engineer III Security Analyst to strengthen its cybersecurity operations. This role requires expertise in threat detection, vulnerability management, and security architecture to protect enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to enhance security posture, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in cybersecurity.
• Associate's degree in a computer-related field (or 2+ additional years of cybersecurity experience in lieu of degree).
• Hands-on experience in SIEM, SOAR, firewalls, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and Zero Trust Architecture.
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python).
• Expertise in cloud security, networking protocols (TCP/IP), and system security for Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
• Knowledge of security standards such as HIPAA, NIST 800-53, and other regulatory frameworks.

Preferred (Good-to-Have):

• Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, etc.).
• Experience in threat intelligence, forensic investigations, and penetration testing.
• Strong background in defense-in-depth strategies and risk mitigation techniques.
• Familiarity with application security testing (SAST/DAST) and DevSecOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security systems and respond to potential threats and incidents.
• Architect and implement cybersecurity solutions for cloud and on-premises environments.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and security testing for applications and infrastructure.
• Develop security automation workflows to enhance response and detection capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure compliance and secure system design.
