That's why we're always looking ahead, and not just to the next project or what's next in our industry. **Job Overview** **:** As a **Industrial Painter** for our Bakersfield district, you will contribute to our team by: Applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various industrial structures. This role is crucial in protecting surfaces from corrosion, wear, and environmental damage, as well as ensuring aesthetic appeal. **Job Function** **s:** + Retrieves and stores paints from storage supply + Prepares work area including: Masking, Sanding, and Barricading. + Knowledge of different types of paints or coatings such as; resinous, solvent drying paints, catalyzed or polymerized paints and knowledge of inhibiting coatings + Will use a Fresh Air or Full Face Mask and Tyvek Suits (PPE) to perform duties **Qualifications & Skills:** + Minimum 2 year industrial painter experience. + Ability to operate and understand airless spray system. + Ability to operate and understand conventional spray pot. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and product data sheets. + Knowledge and experience working with the surface preparation standards SSPC. + Ability to operate a pneumatic DA sander, mixing drill etc. + Ability to read a tape measurer. **Benefits:** + 401(k) + Medical, Dental and Vision insurance + Employee assistance program (EAP) + Employee discounts + Flexible spending accounts (FSA) + Paid holidays PCL is an innovative, safety-oriented company comprised of people who find passion in their profession and take pride in doing great work every day.
