We are hiring an Inventory Manager to oversee and manage all vehicle inventory processes for our car dealership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking, ordering, stocking, and maintaining vehicle inventory levels, ensuring accuracy, and optimizing inventory flow to support sales goals and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of new and used vehicle inventory.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing vehicle stock, ensuring timely and accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the sales and purchasing teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
  • Ensure vehicles are properly received, inspected, tagged, and stocked for display and sale.
  • Coordinate vehicle transfers between locations, auctions, and wholesale accounts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Dealertrack).
  • Conduct regular audits and reconcile physical inventory with digital records.
  • Report inventory levels and vehicle turnover rates to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer programs, dealership policies, and DMV requirements.
  • Identify aging inventory and coordinate promotional or sales strategies for clearance.
  • Work closely with the reconditioning department to track vehicle readiness status.
  • Train and supervise inventory clerks or lot attendants as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of automotive dealership operations and inventory software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dealership management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
