Java Developers (Backend & Full Stack – Derivatives Trading  Platform)

MUST be local to New York City Hybrid Schedule, at least 2-3 days per week on site

Full-Time Position

Salary Range: up to $180k

My client, a leading financial securities firm based in NYC, is seeking multiple Java Developers to join their team and contribute to a cutting-edge Derivatives Trading Platform. We are hiring for both backend and full stack roles.

Role Options:

• Backend Java Developer – Focus on backend services, APIs, and system architecture.
• Full Stack Java Developer – Work across the stack, utilizing Vue.js for front-end development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications for high-performance trading systems.
• Collaborate with traders, analysts, and other developers to enhance platform functionality.
• Implement best practices for clean, efficient, and secure code.
• Optimize system performance and ensure low-latency trading execution.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong Java development expertise (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
• Experience with derivatives trading or financial markets (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with Vue.js for Full Stack candidates.
• Knowledge of multithreading, distributed systems, and high-throughput applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
