Junior Product Developer job at Solomon Page San Francisco, CA, US

Job Description

Our client, a well-known apparel brand based in San Francisco, is looking for a Junior Product Developer to join their team for a 6 month contract!

Responsibilities:

Supports product development execution and serves as an interface with Design teams.
Enters, compiles and analyzes costs for all styles and highlights discrepancies.
Supports sampling/prototypes processes and protocols by tracking concept samples and working with mills and vendors to ensure on time delivery of samples.
Initiates Time/Actions for all key programs.
Regularly communicates with vendors and and support functions to ensure calendar deadlines are met and data accuracy.
Manages related processes/systems as appropriate.
Builds strong cross-functional partnerships with Design, Pre-Production, Production.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Merchandise Product Development or a related field
2+ years of product development or production experience at an apparel retailer
Proficient in Excel and PLM systems
Excellent written, verbal and inter-personal communication skills
