Responsibilities:
Web Development: Assist in building updating and maintaining websites and web applications focusing on frontend and backend development.
Collaborate with Team Members: Work with designers and senior developers to implement web pages and applications according to design specifications and functional requirements.
Code Review & Testing: Participate in code reviews ensure code quality and help troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain optimal performance.
Optimization: Optimize websites and applications for maximum speed scalability and responsive design across various devices and browsers.
Technical Documentation: Document code processes and any changes made to support future development and maintenance.
Research & Learning: Stay updated with industry trends new technologies and best practices to improve your skills and contribute fresh ideas to the team.
Basic Database Management: Assist in working with databases including data retrieval storage and management as needed.
User Support: Help in diagnosing and fixing bugs or issues reported by endusers or the QA team.
Learning & Growth: Take initiative in learning new technologies frameworks and tools relevant to web development.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience: Some experience in web development either through internships freelancing coursework or personal projects.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HTML CSS and JavaScript.
Basic understanding of frontend frameworks like React Angular or Vue.js.
Familiarity with backend technologies preferably Node.js PHP or Python.
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them.
Responsive Design Skills: Familiarity with creating responsive crossbrowsercompatible web applications.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering highquality work.
ProblemSolving: Ability to troubleshoot debug and resolve technical issues.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with databases like MySQL PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
Familiarity with web development tools and environments such as Visual Studio Code.
Basic knowledge of design tools like Adobe XD Figma or Sketch.
Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to web development.
Knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress Shopify or similar.
