• Create formulations in support of operations
• Prepare materials per SOP's and work instructions
• Assist in the management of existing lab operations systems and processes to maximize lab productivity and organization
• Support ongoing laboratory operations with an emphasis on ordering, receiving, stocking, storage and distribution of all lab items
• Ensure that safety protocols are in place and are being followed
• Ensure the lab is well maintained, exceeds safety standards, and remains clean and orderly
• Clean glassware and monitor levels to ensure adequate supply for support of operations
• Precisely follow standard operating procedures and other written procedures, and maintain accurate records of work performed
• Report problems, issues, and unexpected observations timely

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of scientific laboratory procedures, techniques, equipment and apparatus used in a chemistry laboratory
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices and precautions applicable to a laboratory setting
• Effective and safely operate, adapt, and maintain laboratory equipment
• Utilize computer hardware and software
• Keep detailed and precise records
• Communicate and work effectively and cooperatively with lab technicians, engineers, research associates, etc.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
