The Role: Labor & Employment Associate | Los Angeles or Oakland, CA
We are seeking a talented Labor & Employment Associate to join a nationally recognized law firm in its Los Angeles or Oakland offices. This position offers the opportunity to work on significant employment litigation matters, provide strategic legal counsel, and collaborate with a dynamic team of legal professionals.

In this position, you will:

• Defend clients in wage and hour PAGA and class actions, as well as single-plaintiff lawsuits for discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
• Handle depositions and independently manage cases with oversight.
• Provide counsel on California employment law issues, including compliance and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with a diverse team to deliver exceptional legal solutions tailored to client needs.
• Develop and execute innovative litigation strategies in high-stakes employment cases.

Candidate Profile

Experience and Expertise

• Years of Practice: 5-7 years of significant employment litigation experience.
• Litigation Background: Strong experience defending wage and hour PAGA and class actions, and single-plaintiff lawsuits.
• Counseling Experience: Advising clients on California employment law issues is a plus.

Educational Credentials

• Juris Doctor (JD): Degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Bar Membership: Active California bar license.

• Competitive Compensation: A salary range of $225,000 to $265,000 in Los Angeles and Oakland, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in other markets vary based on market data.
