Landscape Designer - Lake County, FL

Our client is an established, well-respected, and rapid growing commercial landscape design-build firm. They are currently in search of an exceptional Landscape Designer, someone who brings a unique mixture of ingenuity, ambition, and zeal to their clients dynamic team.

The ideal candidate they are seeking will have a deep understanding of Florida tree and plant material and how to marry creativity with technical expertise, designing outdoor spaces that are as beautiful as they are sustainable.

Main Duties

• Formulate comprehensive plans and designs for both public and private outdoor spaces.
• Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and clients to effectively integrate landscape designs with existing structures.
• Prepare landscape designs in accordance with client's specifications and budget considerations.
• Produce detailed site plans, specifications, and cost estimates for landscape projects.
• Ensure all designs comply with local ordinances and regulations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of Florida tree and plant material.
• Previous experience in a Landscape Designer role or similar is a must.
• Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or other related design software is essential.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong creative design and drawing skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
