Adelphi is seeking Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to provide behavioral health services, including assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning, to individuals in custody within a correctional facility in Whatcom County, Washington State. The ideal candidate will have experience in correctional, forensic, or public health settings and demonstrate strong clinical judgment, effective care coordination, and a commitment to trauma-informed care.

Requirements
• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
• Current, active LCSW license in the State of Washington
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (preferably in correctional, crisis, or public behavioral health settings)
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, and behavioral health interventions
• Familiarity with NCCHC standards and Washington State RCWs 71.05 and 71.24
• Strong skills in documentation, case management, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to work effectively in a secure, fast-paced healthcare setting
• Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
• Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA-approved)
Responsibilities
• Conduct psychosocial assessments, behavioral health evaluations, and crisis interventions.
• Provide short-term individual and group therapy using evidence-based practices.
• Monitor and support individuals with serious mental illness, including those on suicide watch or detoxification protocols.
• Coordinate treatment planning with psychiatrists, medical staff, and custody personnel.
• Participate in care coordination, critical incident reviews, and reentry/discharge planning.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Support quality assurance and ensure compliance with NCCHC, WAC, RCW, and facility behavioral health policies.
• Promote continuity of care through collaborative teamwork and discharge readiness planning.
