We are seeking a Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician to join our team in Petoskey, MI. This is a 100% hospital-based position, dedicated to providing essential cardiothoracic surgical care to our patients. The role requires day shifts with weekend coverage, specifically 48-hour shifts from Saturday through Sunday. The Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system used is Cerner. The number of patients per day is variable, with an average of 10 surgeries per month for a full-time provider. The Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician will provide high-quality care in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include preoperative, operative, and postoperative care of cardiothoracic patients, ensuring optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Requirements:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Must have a Michigan state medical license (IMLC is not accepted)
COVID-19 Vaccination is required
