Manual Tester Description

We are actively looking for an observant Manual Tester to ensure that our customers receive the business value they desire by thoroughly overseeing all facets of the process.

Responsibilities

• Support test planning by assessing functional and non-functional requirements, detecting problems, and disapproving ambiguous or substandard requirements
• Develop and update test cases
• Conduct regression test plans
• Identify, document, and monitor errors while providing feedback on test coverage
• Approximate testing task efforts

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years in test design, planning, and execution
• Knowledge of various types of tests including functional, non-functional, Smoke Test, regression, and integrated tests
• Proficiency in different quality strategies such as Agile Testing, product vision, risks, early testing, types of tests, regression criteria, and test planning
• Experience in formulating test cases using BDD
• Familiarity with widely-used testing tools such as Jira and Zephyr
• Background in REST API testing
• Understanding of Front-end testing
• Competency in employing tools like Postman, Swagger, and Soap UI
• Capability to examine logs using tools such as Datadog

Nice to have

• Being a student or a graduate in engineering, computer science, or a related field
• Background in the banking or fintech industries
• Understanding of programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, and Python
• Experience in performance testing using instruments like JMeter, k6, and artillery
• Proficiency in backend automation topics including REST Assured, Karate, and Pactumjs
