The Marketing and Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns and events to promote the company's brand, products, and services. This role involves collaborating with various departments, managing trade show/event logistics, and ensuring successful marketing initiatives that drive engagement and growth.  This position reports to the CEO.  The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of marketing and trade show/event experience and be proficient in using marketing software and tools.

Compensation

$68,640 -$85,000 based on experience

Schedule
  • Office hours are Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm
  • Full Time, Exempt  
  • Ability to travel monthly up to 40% of the time
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required

Core Responsibilities

Event Planning and Execution
  • Plan, organize, and execute company events, including trade shows, conferences, car shows, webinars, and product launches
  • Coordinate event logistics, such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodations
  • Manage event budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships
  • Ensure all events are executed smoothly and meet company objectives
Marketing Campaigns
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.)
  • Create and manage content for marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media posts
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
Brand Management
  • Maintain and enhance the company's brand image through consistent messaging and visual identity
  • Ensure all marketing materials align with brand guidelines and standards
Collaboration and Communication
  • Work closely with the sales team to support lead generation and customer engagement efforts
  • Coordinate with external partners, vendors, and agencies to execute marketing initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on marketing goals and strategies
Attributes of a Strong Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in marketing, trade shows, event planning, or a related role (2-3 years minimum)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM, email marketing platforms, social media management tools)
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel for events
  • Flexibility to work weekends and nights when required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
