Your role in our team

  • You design material handling equipment such as conveyors, bulk feed equipment sortation systems, order fulfillment machinery, and other machines with similar complexity
  • You collaborate with sales and product owners to convert concept level requirements into detailed equipment designs and mechanical fabrication and assembly packages
  • You apply and incorporate material handling technologies into designs based on product requirements
  • You collaborate with electrical and control engineering workstreams during product design and equipment selection
  • You work with material suppliers and manufacturing to identify and support design and equipment procurement activities
  • You create detailed and accurate technical data packages, including manufacturing assembly drawings, bills of material, product manuals, and integration guides
  • You maintain revision control of documentation and create and execute ECRs

Your profile

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a minimum of two (2) years of applicable experience
  • You have a proven track record of expertise in the mechanical engineering field in product design
  • You have experience in the design of material handling equipment with knowledge of the applicable product requirements, constraints, and budgets
  • You are a strong collaborator with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • You have an advanced level of experience in the use of 3D CAD tools (preferred) such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Pro-E, Solid Works, etc.
  • You are able to travel up to 10%
